This upcoming weekend marks exactly one year since the Cambridge Analytical data privacy scandal began. And what a year it’s been!


The New York Times has an in-depth article about how TikTok is rewriting the world. TL;DR: Modern marketers need to install TikTok and study how people use it. The growing social network isn’t going away and is changing the nature of social media.


The Atlantic writes about how teens are using Google Docs on their school chromebooks to “pass virtual notes” and circumvent the software adults are using to keep them from using chat apps during class or at home.


Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp were down this week. Did you notice? Did you call the police? We only ask because some people called the police.


Spotify Premium now includes Hulu! Spotify’s offer to enroll in the Hulu bundle is open until June 10th, 2019.

Given the growth of Stories on Instagram and Facebook, it only makes sense that Twitter would be looking to get into the action. Twitter’s new in-app camera will offer a way to share photos in a “What’s Happening”  format, will be easy to open the camera (think Snapchat-level easy) and will feature these images set apart from those shot first and shared later.
