Ford to bring back physical radio controls for frustrated touchscreen users

In my experience with both Sync in Ford and MyLink in Chevy, I think this is more a software issue than a hardware issue.

Manufacturers rarely issue software updates to the operating systems, and because they’re too focused on the UX of the hardware, they’re missing key opportunities to make the interfaces simpler.
